1. The instant revisional application has been filed at the behest of the accused in G.R. Case No. 1080 of 2017 arising out of Nandigram Police Station Case No. 284 of 2017 dated July 24, 2017 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Haldia, Purba Medinipur.

2. It is submitted on behalf of the learned advocate for the petitioner that the investigation of the case is concluded. Prosecution report shows that on July 17, 2018 copies were served upon the petitioner. The case has been fixed for evidence since January 18, 2019. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that no witness has turned up till date for the prosecution.

3. In these facts and circumstances it would be appropriate to request learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haldia, Purba Medinipur to hear and dispose of G.R. Case No. 1080 of 2017 as early as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. No doubt the leaned trial Court will take every legal step for providing the attendance of the prosecution witnesses.

4. With the above observation this revisional application being CRR 5150 of 2025 stands disposed of.
