In this public interest petition the petitioners have raised the grievance that the private respondents are running a poultry firm in the area concerned, the details of which have been disclosed in the petition. The further grievance of the petitioners is that the poultry firm is being run without adhering to rules and regulations and the private respondents are causing nuisance and pollution in the area concerned. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the petitioners have already filed the representation dated 17th October, 2022 raising the grievance in detailed before the concerned District Magistrate but the same has not been considered till now.

Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioners, is respondent no.6, Block Development

Officer, Dainhat and if the petitioners file the representation before the said authority then the grievance will be duly looked into.

Hence, we dispose of the present petition by permitting the petitioners to file detailed representation along with the supporting materials before the respondent no.6, who on receipt of the same will duly consider the grievance raised therein and taken an appropriate decision after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of representation.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
