1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the victim. The marriage took place three years ago. The other accused are on bail. Charge-sheet has been submitted.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He relies on the statement of the father of the victim recorded before the learned Magistrate and the statements of neighbours present at pages 17 and 18 of the case diary and the post-mortem report.

3. Considering the above, the other incriminating materials available in the case diary and the role ascribed to the

present petitioner, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
