Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities on or about 06.11.2024 against the respondent no.4, no steps have been taken.

Petitioner alleges that the respondent no.4 has antecedent and because of the nature of the business which is being carried out by the petitioner, the respondent no.4 is trying to extort money from the petitioner.

Be that as it may, police authorities have conducted an enquiry, drawn up a proceeding at the relevant point of time under Section 126 of the BNSS. Having considered that the police authorities are in knowhow of the incident and the complicity of the respondent no.4, they would keep a strict vigil

and ensure that for smooth functioning of the business of the petitioner, no interference is caused by the respondent no.4. In case any further information is received by the police authorities, they would promptly take action and/or, if required, impose a bond for maintaining peace and security in the locality concerned.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 27395 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
