Mr. Banerjee, learned AGP appearing for the State submits a report which reflects that pursuant to the complaint dated 05.11.2024, New Market Police Station Case No. 172 dated 20.11.2024 has been registered for investigation.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner advances other prayer regarding possession which is not the domain of this Court.

Since the police authorities are in seisin of the investigation of the case, let the investigation be

taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 27411 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
