Learned senior advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner prays for expediting the proceedings being CNS-291 of 2018.

Learned senior advocate submits that at least on six dates, the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 11th court, Calcutta has fixed dates for examination of the accused persons under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The next date according to the learned senior advocate for the petitioner is fixed on 20th December, 2023. Learned Magistrate is directed to conclude the examination of the accused persons under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on the aforesaid date. If the same is not possible to be concluded on the said date, the learned Magistrate would by 11th January, 2024 conclude the examination under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The learned Magistrate, thereafter would grant three months time to the defence to examine the witnesses in support of its case and take efforts so that the judgement is pronounced by 30th April, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4466 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending any other applications, if any, are disposed of accordingly.
