It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they were assaulted by politically influential persons. It is further submitted petitioners have been falsely implicated alleging assault on civic volunteers. Accordingly, they pray for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner no.1 had dashed his motorcycle against a toto. Over this issue dispute arose and petitioners assaulted police personnel. In view of the daring nature of act and assault on police personnel while they were discharging official duty, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners stands rejected.
