1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner is a teacher of a high school. His application for transfer is pending consideration at the end of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

3. The instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Secretary of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission to take necessary steps to consider the application for transfer made by the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. If the application of the petitioner for transfer is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken without any further delay.

5. The fate of the petitioner's application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

6. Suspension of the Utsashree portal shall not stand in the way of the respondents in taking steps in terms of the order passed hereinabove.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
