Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and the report submitted by the State are taken on record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the complaint lodged by him against the private respondent has not been registered as FIR.

The petitioner is at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175 of the BNSS for redressal of his grievance.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
