Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to grant transfer from district of South 24-Parganas to the district of Purba Bardhaman upon consideration of his representation dated 2nd September, 2024. 3.

The petitioner contends that he is an Assistant Primary Teacher of Amirpur Free Primary School under Mathurapur West Circle, District- South 24Parganas. The petitioner joined in the said school on 6th March, 2024. The minor child of the petitioner is suffering from autism spectrum disorder. The wife of

the petitioner is also suffering from severe gynaecological disorder more specifically polycystic ovarian syndrome, PCOS disease. The petitioner's house is situated more than 340 kms. (up and down) away from his school. On 2nd September, 2024, the petitioner made an application before the President, West Bengal Board of Primary Education seeking inter-district transfer, but the same is still pending consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

Mr. Atreya Chakraborty, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the matter may be relegated to the appropriate authority for consideration of the representation of the petitioner dated 2nd September, 2024.

Learned Advocates for the respondents leave the matter to the discretion of the Court.

In view of such submissions advanced on behalf of the respective parties, respondent No.4, Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 2nd September, 2024 and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law upon notice to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 7.

The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing of such order.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent No.4, Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, for necessary compliance.

With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 27224 of 2025 stands disposed of.

10. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.

11. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

12. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

13. There shall be no order as to costs.

14. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

15. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
