1. Heard learned lawyer for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Evidence of the minor implicates the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault. Victim is a child below 12 years.

3. In view of the gravity of offence and the evidence led against the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

5. Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
