The learned Advocate for the opposite party is represented. None appears on behalf of the petitioner. On the previous day, that is, 06.01.2026 also none appears on behalf of the petitioner. This application is under Section 528 of the BNSS. A direction has been sought by the petitioner upon the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar, North 24 Paraganas for expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No.173 of 2025. I have gone through the materials placed on record including the order-sheet. From the order-sheet transpires that the case was initiated on February 15, 2025. The accused/opposite party surrendered before the learned Trial Court on February 25, 2025 and obtained bail. Charge-sheet in the case was filed on March 24, 2025 and the cognizance of the offence was taken. Thereafter another accused surrendered on July 16, 2025. On September 16, 2025 the case was transferred for disposal to the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar upon compliance of Section 230 of BNSS.

In such facts and circumstances of the case, there appears no dealy in the disposal of the proceeding being G.R. Case No.173 of 2025. In such circumstances I find no reason to issue direction as

sought for early disposal of the proceeding.

Accordingly CRR 5107 of 2025 is dismissed.
