The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that from his bank account at Axis Bank, Singur Branch, Hooghly a sum of Rs.

3,20,000/- was hacked by some persons.

Consequently, he informed the police station subsequent to which Cyber Crime Police Station, Hooghly Rural P.D. Case No. 10 of 2024 was registered for investigation and the same is pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandannagore.

The petitioner contends that the investigating authority could track down a sum of Rs. 1,98,000/- and he is in urgent requirement of the said money. However, such accounts have been frozen and/or information has been sent by the investigating agency to the bank authorities, as such the petitioner is unable to withdraw such amount. In view of the aforesaid, since the petitioner is a victim of circumstances because of reasons beyond his control, I grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the

learned ACJM, Chandannagore.

Learned ACJM, Chandannagore on appropriate condition will release the money in favour of the petitioner who happens to be the defacto complainant of the criminal case.

If such an application is taken out, the learned ACJM, Chandanagore would take all efforts to dispose of the same within a period of 25 days after notifying the investigating authority.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition being WPA 27506 of 2024 is disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
