The writ petition is at the instance of the bank alleging inaction on the part of the Purba Medinipur District Magistrate in taking steps in response to its application made under section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security of Interest Act, 2002. 2.

The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur to take steps in response to the application filed by the petitioners under Section 14 of the 2002 Act in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within thirty days from the date of communication of this order. 3.

Report filed by the Officer-in-Charge of Nandakumar police station signed on November 28, 2024 be taken on record.
