The petitioner appearing in person submits that pursuant to an order passed by this Court, the petitioners were granted liberty to distribute relief materials to the families of the victim. However, on 14.11.2023 when the incident happened, the State did not provide any lady police personnel. The male police personnel held back the lady members of the representations. In the presence of senior police officer, a male constable is seen holding the dress of a female protester.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. The writ petition has spent its force. The relief sought in the same has already been granted. On 14.11.2023, the petitioners did not give

any notice to the police that they would be coming there. By that time, the police authorities were holding pickets to avoid any law and order problem. They were not ready with lady police officers. That is why the crowd had to be contained by the available police officers and personnel.

It appears that the prime grievance of the writ petitioner has been addressed.

The State has also given a reasonable explanation for the absence of lady police personnel on the first date of interaction i.e. 14.11.2023.

Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
