The instant application is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying for quashing of the proceedings in Case No. C-48769 of 2009 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 pending at the material point of time before the Metropolitan Magistrate, 13th Court, Calcutta. On perusal of the present application along with annexure filed therein, it appears that the present case does not warrant exercise of the jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Accordingly, the instant application is dismissed on merit.
