By this writ petition, petitioner has made a very innocuous prayer of direction upon the respondent CIT (Appeals) NFAC concerned to consider and dispose of the appeal in question relating to assessment year 2012-2013 which was filed on 15th July, 2015. It is very unfortunate that almost 9 years have been passed after filing the appeal in question and yet appellate authority is finding no time to dispose of the same. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 26213 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent CIT (Appeals) NFAC concerned to consider and dispose of the appeal in question positively within six months from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law.
