The matter is taken up for hearing today at 12.30 hrs. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. By an order dated 20.11.2023 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court (Rajasekhar Mantha, J.), the petitioner and his supporters were permitted to hold the rally on 29th November, 2023 as proposed subject to any reasonable restriction that might be communicated to them. The matter was to be taken up on 22.11.2023, but the State preferred an appeal against the said order. Today i.e., on 24.11.2023 at the first sitting of the Court, the appeal was heard by the Hon'ble First Court. The same was dismissed without interfering with the impugned order and by directing that the rally would be held on the said date and at the same venue subject to usual norms and conditions as contained in Standard Form of the Police Authorities.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the appeal has indeed been dismissed on such terms.

As the Hon'ble Appellate Court has already decided the issue finally, there is nothing left to be decided. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of without any further order.

Urgent certified copy of this order may be given to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
