It is submitted dispute occurred over management of waqf property. Petitioner has been falsely implicated. He prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned lawyer for the State submits police personnel were injured.

We have considered the materials on record. Dispute arose over management of waqf property. Police intervened. There was a free fight. Police personnel suffered injury but the injuries are simple.

In view of the backdrop in which the criminal case has sprung up, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction

of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

Petitioner shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
