Petitioner submits victim is an adult married lady. Cohabitation was out of a love affection. Subsequently, he has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the de-facto complainant submits petitioner cohabited with the victim on the false promise of securing employment. Thereafter, he refused to arrange for employment and threatened her.

We have considered the materials on record. Victim is an adult married lady. She alleges she cohabited on the false promise of marriage. First of such incident occurred in March, 2023. for almost one month. There is delay in lodging First Information Report.

Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Sk. Maniruddin @ Sk. Maniruddin Ali Ahammed be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. He shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
