Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 585 days and he has been falsely implicated and there is no possibility of the trial commencing very soon.

Petitioner further submits that the present prayer is for renewal as on the earlier occasion bail was rejected as the petitioner had an antecedent of a case under the provisions of NDPS Act. Petitioner submits that he has been acquitted of the charges in the case relating to NDPS Act.

Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary and also referred to the seizure list pointing to the huge seizure which has been recovered at the behest of the present petitioner.

Having considered the quantum of seizure in the present case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail until the seizure list witnesses are examined by the learned Trial Court.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2526 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
