Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the application of the petitioners under Section of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 is pending inordinately long, beyond the statutory outer limit.

Despite service, none appears for the private respondents.

Affidavit of service filed in Court today be kept on record.

In view of the above circumstances, W.P.A. No. 26233 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2, that is, the District Magistrate, North 24-Parganas, to dispose of the petitioners' application under

Section 14 of the 2002 Act at the earliest, preferably within four weeks from the date by acting on a server copy of this order.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
