Case No. 58 of 2024 dated 07.03.2024. The said case was registered in the month of March, 2024 and, inspite of repeated directions, the Investigating Officer lacked prudence, expertise and experience to handle such matter. There were lack of efforts as also endeavour on the part of the investigating officer also to unearth the truth.

Having regard to the same, the investigation of Nager Bazar P.S. Case No. 58 of 2024 dated 07.03.2024 is

transferred to the Detective Department of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate. The Commissioner of Police of the Barrackpore Police Commissionerate will engage a competent officer of the Anti Cheating and Fraud Section of the Detective Department who would carry forward the investigation of this case and take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a period reasonable period of time.

The records of the case including the Case Diary should be transmitted preferably within a week to the office of the Commissioner of Police, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 27537 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Case Diary be returned to the

learned Advocate for the State.
