Victim recorded statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicating the petitioner in attempting to rape her.

Eye-witnesses corroborated the statement of the victim. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5102 of 2023 is dismissed.
