The petitioners were aggrieved by the fact that their complaint has not been addressed by the police authorities.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report enclosing formal copy of FIR which reflects that already Panchla Police Station Case No.380/2024 dated 19.11.2024 has been registered under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/117(2)/74 of BNS and investigation is in progress. In fact, the investigating officer of the case has collected injury report and bed head tickets of the petitioner no.1 from the concerned hospital.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that one of the victims in the incident happens to be a minor. Accordingly, necessary

documents be produced before the investigating officer of the case who would act by adhering to the provisions of law.

Since the investigation has already commenced, the police authorities are directed to take effective measures to take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 27516 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
