The petitioners complain that Nabagram Police Station and the private respondent have misinterpreted an order dated July 4, 2022 and have tried to oust the petitioners and interfere with their rights as the owner in respect of the suit premises.

The private respondent is represented.

The private respondent claims to be one of the recorded bargadars in respect of the property. He claims to have been ousted from the property.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the petitioners and the private respondent, can only be resolved before the

authorities under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955, i.e., BL & LRO and/or the DLRO or before the LRTT, if necessary.

The parties may approach the statutory forum and authorities in accordance with law.

The Nabagram Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area and strictly enforce any orders that may be passed by any of the authorities mentioned hereinabove.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

8.

There shall be no order as to costs.

9.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
