Leave is granted to the learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioners to amend the cause title in course of the day by adding Sections 126(2)/76 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023 to the array of offences.

We have considered the materials on record. A dispute cropped up between the parties over allocation of apartments in a property. Allegation of outraging modesty appears to be embellished to give a criminal profile. Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not necessary and they may be granted anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, we direct in the event of arrest, the petitioners, namely (1) Jai Prakash Sinha, (2) Shashi Bhushan Sinha, (3) Akanksha Sinha & (4) Abhishek Sinha, be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section Signed By : ARUP KUMAR DAS High Court of Calcutta 25 th of November 2024 05:08:44 PM
