None appears on behalf of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in spite of service.

The petitioner appeared in the Madhyamik Pariksha(Examination) in 1982. An application for correction of his date of birth recorded in the duplicate certificate of the said Examination is pending before the Board since 2022. The petitioner is praying expeditious disposal of the said application.

The Board is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from date of communication of this order.

WPA 26258 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
