A Status report has been submitted on behalf of the State. Let the same be kept with the record.

Report reflects that the police authorities are taking steps for tracing out the accused but are unable to lay hands on him. Report also reflects that other police stations have also been informed, the bank authorities are also informed, statements have been recorded and service providers have also been intimated.

In view of the investigation of Kotulpur P.S. Case No.68 of 2024 dated 12.03.2024 being taken care of, however, the same is progressing slowly, so, I direct that a superior officer in the rank of SDPO, Bishnupur would monitor the investigation of the case so that effective steps are taken within a reasonable period of time to take the investigation to

its logical conclusion which has commenced on 12th March, 2024. If the petitioner is aggrieved, petitioner will call for a progress report of the investigation before the learned jurisdictional court after a period of 60 days from date.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 27553 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
