Petitioner is in custody for 120 days. It is submitted investigation is complete. He prays for bail. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail. He submits petitioner had played an active role in opening bank accounts and siphoning money cheated from innocent victims. Bank accounts were opened in New Delhi under different names and money was misappropriated. Further investigation is in progress.

We have considered the materials on record. Profile of the allegations shows petitioner and co-accuseds duped innocent victims on the false promise of setting up 5G towers. Large number of cases involving similar allegations have been registered in various police stations. Further investigation to explore the ramifications of the crime and complicity of the petitioner in the organised racket has been handed over to the

specialised agency. At this stage, it may not be prudent to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
