The petitioner filed the instant writ petition alleging illegal and unauthorized construction at 5B, Kasai Bustee 2nd land.

Presently the petitioner has given a written instruction to the learned advocate disclosing her intention not to proceed with the writ petition any further.

Learned advocate representing the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has obtained instruction from the engineers wherefrom it appears that unauthorized construction has been detected at premises no. 5B, Kasai Bustee 1st Lane and not at 5B, Kasai Bustee 2nd Lane. The Corporation has taken steps to deal with the unauthorized construction.

As the petitioner has expressed her intention not to proceed with the writ petition, accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as 'not pressed'.

Dismissal of the writ petition will not stand in the way of the Corporation to take steps to deal with the unauthorized construction in accordance with law. Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
