With regard to the order dated March 31, 2023, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that he has been denied MACP Scheme on completion of 10 years and 20 years of service by the institute in terms of the order dated March 31, 2023.

The relevant part of the order is quoted below : "I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the Secretary, Ministry of Culture, respondent no. 1 to assign a competent officer to calculate the arrear dues owed to the petitioner if any under the MACP scheme on the completion of his 10 years and 20 years of service.

If it is found that the petitioner is entitled to any further arrear dues, the same shall be paid to the petitioner within three months from the date of communication of this order."

It is an admitted position that pursuant to the order dated March 31, 2023, the alleged arrear dues were calculated by an officer appointed by the Secretary, Ministry of Culture, respondent no. 1. The said officer found that the petitioner is not entitled to such benefits.

I am of the view that the order dated March 31, 2023, has been complied with. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the said officer, he may challenge the same by filing a fresh writ petition. Accordingly, CPAN 1556 of 2023 is disposed of.
