Petitioner before us is the husband.

The de facto complainant suffered grievous hurt on the assault of the husband by using a hammer.

De facto complainant recorded her statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicating the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5117 of 2023 is dismissed.
