Number of persons suffered injuries in an incident of assault.

One of the injured suffered deep cut injury on the neck by a sharp cutting weapon. Such injured implicates all the petitioners in the assault. He states that, the petitioners along with others used sharp cutting weapons including swords in the assault.

Injuries sustained corroborate such claim.

In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5122 of 2023 is dismissed.
