(Through Video Conference) Mr. Anirban Ray, GP Mr. Rudranil De Mr. Supratim Dhar ... ... for the State The grievance raised in the present petition is that various schemes of the State Government were undertaken by Kashimpur Gram Panchayet but no work under these schemes has been done and in the official website it is shown that the projects have been completed and on the basis of which a sum of ` 4,66,446/- (Rupees four lakh sixty six thousand four hundred and forty six only) has been disbursed. According to the petitioners though the money has been disbursed, but the work has not been done.

The record reflects that the petitioner has already filed a mass petition before the respondent no. 5, the Block Development Officer, Chanchal- II vide annexure P6 pointing out the irregularities and praying for taking appropriate steps against the wrong doer.

Learned counsel for the State fairly submits that the matter can be duly looked into by the concerned BDO.

Hence, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the respondent no. 5, the Block Development

Officer, Chanchal - II to make an enquiry in respect of the complaint contained in the mass petition dated 25.09.2017 and take an appropriate decisions thereon in accordance with law within a period of four months from today.
