Part Street Police Station has filed a report dated 20.01.2023, which is taken on record, indicating that about 16 cases have been registered at the instance of the writ petitioner of which 14 cases have been charge sheeted. The accused persons are either on bail or absconding. There are two cases registered against the petitioner of which one has been charge sheeted and trial has commenced.

The petitioner complains that the families of the respondent nos. 5 to 7 are playing musical instruments and loud played on loud speakers in the locality. The O. C., Park Street Police Station shall ensure that there are absolutely no loud speakers used by any person and there shall be no music after 10 p.m. The norms of the pollution control board shall be followed. The police have posted a picket outside the residence of the petitioner. Let the picket continue at least for a period of one month.

The O. C., Park Street Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
