Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of Dholahat P.S Case No. 751 of 2024 dated 28th December, 2024 registered for investigation but no steps have been taken by the police authorities. I find that the accusations made in the information furnished to the police auth0rities includes amongst others alleged offences for forgery and preparation of fake deeds.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the investigation of the case is under progress and appropriate steps have been taken by the Investigating Officer of the case.

Having considered that the case has been registered in December, 2024 and there are processes involved for ascertaining in regard to the accusation relating to forgery of title deed, I am of the view that for the purpose of the intricacies involved in the present

case, the Additional S.P In-charge of the Dholahat Police Station or any superior officer of the same rank in charge of Dholahat Police Station will monitor the said investigation.

The Investigating Officer on each and every 15 days will report to the superior officer in respect of the progress made with regard to the steps taken. All efforts be exhausted for taking the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 27586 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
