1. A supplementary affidavit filed in court today be kept on record.

2. It transpires from the report filed by the respondent authorities that after the District Magistrate's intervention, the matter has been resolved to the extent that the villagers'

objection has been found unfounded. The work, accordingly, shall be carried on upon the property donated by the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner apprehends resistance by the villages and seeks police help.

4. However, since the matter is in the hands of the respondent authorities, it is expected that

in the event any resistant is faced, the authorities shall obtain adequate police assistance to implement the resolution reached by the intervention of the District Magistrate.

5. With the above observations, WPA No. 26324 of 2023 is disposed of.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.)
