1. Petitioner submits she is a member of the legal profession and had a chamber in the apartment. Two persons were caught stealing in another flat of the apartment and were assaulted. Petitioner did not participate in the assault. She prays for anticipatory bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State submits co-accused had assaulted two persons on the suspicion that they had committed theft.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Two persons were caught and assaulted on the suspicion they had committed theft.

Witnesses do not state petitioner participated in the assault. Principal accused is on regular bail.

4. Under such circumstances we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the

satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of BNSS 2023.

6. Petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
