Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the present revisional application relating to M.R. Case No.03A/2017 is pending for more than 6 1⁄2 years. Learned advocate submits that at this stage the evidence of OPW1/husband is in progress. The opposite party/husband is dragging the case and, as such, the harassment of regularly visiting the court for the last 6 1⁄2 years is continuing. Learned advocate further submits that the next date is fixed on 20th December, 2023. Having regard to the period which has already been consumed in the present case, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Jhargram to fix one date in every 15 days and try to complete the evidence of the opposite party by 28th February, 2024.

Needless to state that if the learned Judicial Magistrate feels that number of more witnesses for the interest of justice are to be examined at the instance of the opposite party, then in that case the number of dates may be increased by the learned Magistrate, but the same should not be stretched beyond the date fixed, that is, on 28th February, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4493 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
