Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits he is brother-in-law of the victim. He has been falsely implicated. Co-accused have been granted regular bail.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record.

Petitioner who is the brother-in-law of the victim had assaulted and disrobed her. He is a civic volunteer and had abused his position to outrage the victim. Accordingly, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
