We have heard learned Counsel for the parties. We have gone through the Minutes of the Meeting held by the Committee constituted by the Court. It appears to be the conclusion of the Committee that the State Government has no policy as such for taking care of silicosis victims. In that case, such policy will have to be framed.

Learned Additional Advocate General requests for a fortnight's time to obtain better instructions from the concerned department.

List the matter on 19.3.2021.

We expect that the State Government shall come up with some meaningful suggestion on that day so that till such time a proper policy is not framed, some aid and assistance can be made available to the victims of silicosis.
