And In Re : Chaya Sarkar @ Chhaya Sarkar & Anr. ..... petitioners Ms. Busra Khatoon .....for the petitioners Ms. Sonali Das Ms. Madhumita Basak ....for the State 1.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits they are the parents-in-law of the victim lady. They were not present on the day when victim committed suicide. They pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Allegations against the petitioners i.e. parents-in-law of the victim are general and omnibus. It is submitted they were not present on the day of occurrence. Principal accused i.e. husband of the victim lady is on regular bail. Under such circumstances we are inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioners viz. 1) Chaya Sarkar @ Chhaya Sarkar 2) Purnna Signed By :

Sarkar @ Purna Sarkar shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and on condition that they shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within a period of four weeks from date.
