Apparently, the petitioner took money from the victim on the promise of a job.

On the failure of the petitioner of either providing the job or the money or refunding the money, the victim committed suicide.

Considering the fact that, the petitioner is involved in the process of extracting money from the public on the promise of Government job, his role with regard to the suicide committed and also the money extracted needs to be investigated. Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, C.R.M.(A) 5152 of 2023 is rejected. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
