The request made by the petitioners for issuance of a completion certificate in respect of the construction at holding nos. 9, 9/2, 9/3 and 9/5, East Ghoshpara Road, Ward No. 22, P.O.-Shyamnagar under Bhatpara Municipality is pending consideration.

The Municipality contends that a demolition proceeding is continuing in respect of the said premises, accordingly, the completion certificate cannot be issued.

As it appears that the request of the petitioners is pending consideration, it is incumbent for the Municipality to intimate the petitioners the reasons as

to why the prayer of the petitioners cannot be allowed. The Municipality is, accordingly, directed to intimate the petitioners the reasons for not issuance of the completion certificate.

The same shall be communicated to the petitioners positively within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
