The Court is satisfied with regard to the compliance of the order by the panchayat authorities.

The panchayat authorities have held that the alleged constructions were illegal. Now the panchayat authorities are required to send all the documents with the findings to the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer for necessary action under Section 23(5) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973. It is submitted that the documents have already been sent to the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer. It is expected that the Sub-Divisional Officer shall proceed in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the contempt application is disposed of. The contempt proceedings are dropped.
