Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 425 days, charges have already been framed and the evidence of the second witness is in progress. Prosecution intends to examine 16 witnesses. As such, there is no scope for the trial concluding and the petitioner may be released on bail on any stringent conditions.

Learned advocate for the State submits that on 16th October, 2025 the prayer for bail of the petitioner has been rejected. Rebutting such contention, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that on 16th October, 2025 another accused has been granted bail.

Having considered that the complicity of the present petitioner weighed earlier with the court while refusing bail of the present petitioner and since then there has been no change of

circumstances, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Consequently, CRM(M) 2545 of 2025 is rejected at this stage.

Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the evidence of the vulnerable witnesses are over. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
