For the Respondent no. 8 Report submitted by the State is taken on record. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 12th respondent has been working as Pradhan, Begunbari Gram Panchayat as well as an assistant teacher of a primary school and has been drawing the honorarium and salary together.
It appears that after the writ petition was filed, the 12th respondent has submitted an application before the Block Development Officer, Beldanga-I for refunding the honorarium drawn by him as Pradhan. Also, the 12th respondent is no longer officiating as Pradhan, Begunbari Gram Panchayat.
In view of the subsequent development, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition. The same is accordingly disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
