Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Pursuant to an order passed by this Court in WPA 21372 of 2022 on 26th September, 2022 directing the concerned authority to consider and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner therein after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioner, several dates were fixed by the authority for consideration of the matter but no decision has been arrived at. Both the parties participated in the proceeding and submitted before the authority that they would settle the issue of clash in timetable amicably as appears from the proceeding of the meeting recorded by the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Hooghly

on 21st October, 2022. It is submitted that the next date of the meeting has been fixed today.

Since according to the parties, no amicable settlement could be arrived at, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the issue in question within fifteen days from the date of communication of this order irrespective of whether any amicable settlement is arrived at. Since all the interested parties deliberated upon the issue before the authority on several occasions earlier, no further notice is required to be served upon the parties. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the above observations and directions this writ petition being WPA 27343 of 2022 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
