The father of the petitioner was a retired Assistant Teacher of Gangarampur High School (H.S.), District: Dakshin Dinajpur, on his death the mother of the petitioner used to receive the family pension. The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition complaining delay in disbursement of family pension in her favour.

Mr. Goswami, learned counsel for the State, submits that necessary pension payment order has already been issued in favour of the petitioner. He files a photocopy of such pension payment order, let it be kept with the record.

Ms.

Sengupta, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the follow up steps by the concerned Treasury Officer may be expedited so that the petitioner can receive pension at an early date.

WPA 27352 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the concerned Treasury Officer to assess the payable family pension and arrear thereof and disburse the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

There shall be no order as to costs.
